Starting REBODIS

Before smartphones, we took countless small inconveniences for granted. Looking back now, almost none of them were ever necessary.

The same goes for what we currently accept as common sense: that as we age and our bodies weaken, we simply have to live with limitation. We're here to prove that this isn't fate — it's just another inconvenience, and technology can overcome it.

REBODIS was co-founded by Professor Kyu-Jin Cho and Dr. Sung-Sik Yun of the Biorobotics Lab at Seoul National University, and took its first steps on June 17, 2025.

The wearable robots we've known until now have been remarkably capable — and far too heavy and imposing to actually wear through an ordinary day. So we redefined the robot: not as a machine, but as clothing.

Light enough that you forget you have it on. Never in the way, yet quietly lending strength the moment you need it. That is the future of robotics REBODIS is building toward.

REBODIS is more than a company. It's a dream team in the making — one that intends to change what the world takes for granted. Alongside the best people we can find, we'll build technology that genuinely becomes part of people's lives.
