Before smartphones existed, we accepted countless inconveniences as part of everyday life. Looking back now, many of them were discomforts we never truly needed to endure.

The same belief still exists today—that as we age and our bodies weaken, discomfort is simply something we must live with. We believe otherwise. These limitations are not an inevitable fate, but challenges that technology can—and should—overcome.

Rebodis was founded on June 17, 2025, by Professor Kyu-Jin Cho and Dr. Sung-Sik Yun from the Biorobotics Lab at Seoul National University, marking the first step of this journey.

The wearable robots we had encountered until now were powerful in function, yet too heavy and cumbersome for everyday life. So we chose to redefine robots—not as machines, but as clothing.

Something so light you forget you’re wearing it.
